The system provides a comprehensive and efficient way of generating estimates, valuing work undertaken and maintaining a schedule of rates for use in charging for contract work.

The system generates a schedule of rates which is used in the development of estimates, cost comparisons and interim valuations.

A full client documentation pack is provided by the system, which can be tailored by the user to meet their detailed requirements.

Online estimate control

Detailed information can be easily accessed for every estimate, including plant, materials, labour costs and margins. Until a contract has been agreed the estimate can be amended and margins changed as required enabling the effect of the changes to be evaluated.


A complete set of documentation is produced by the system for clients, subcontractors and internal use. Documents produced include contract agreements, sub contractors invitations to tender, tradesman's time schedules, suppliers bills of quantities and works job tickets. All documentation produced can be inter worked with Microsoft office and controlled using project control facilities.

Budget comparisons

When integrated with project control, the subsequent level of financial detail recorded against each estimate, enable tight controls to be kept on costs, with budget against actual cost comparisons instantly available.


By using a lap top or palm top computer, valuations can be agreed on site with the client or his architect. These detailed interim valuations are then used by the project control system in the billing process. Valuation layouts can be customised to the exact specification of the authority.

Stock requisitions

The system can automatically link to the stock system to update the material costs used in the schedule of rates, and generate requisitions, which can be electronically passed to a stores system for issue of materials. These requisitions can contain all necessary client, project and accounting codes, contained within the project header information, which can potentially produce substantial administrative savings. Detailed information of actual stock requisitions and pricing can be obtained from the stores system, this information can be utilised for re-pricing within the schedule of rates, ultimately resulting in greater accuracy when pricing projects.

Maintenance Systems

The schedule of rates maintained by the system is used for invoicing of minor repair work for housing rapid repairs.
